Following college education and a degree in movie making and photography, Pierre Turyan went into a training period as an assistant director @SFP (French TV Production) and on some feature films. He worked as a director of photography on short movies and obtained an award for cinematography by CNC.

 

He's been taking pictures since 1971, but started in fashion photography in 1983. His interest, as reflected in his photographic style, is to create movie-like atmospheres in authentic settings. He 's attracted to light and shade and their interaction for utmost  emotion. This vision kept him busy for over 30 years shooting press ads, brochures, advertising and more for an array of clients worldwide.

 

To relax and recharge Pierre likes to travel, but never without his camera. His landscape photographs show unusual lights and impressive moods, inviting the viewer to day-dream.
